NOTES:
1. The 48-hr grid products were produced from the 00Z model cycle
on June 26, 2002; the 96-hr products were produced from the 12Z model cycle
on June 25, 2002.
2. The grids are at a resolution of 0.5 degrees latitude by 0.5
degrees longitude.
3. The grids contain data to two decimal points precision; the
images have numbers plotted at each gridpoint, rounded to the nearest integer,
while the contours on the plots are faithful to the full-precision data.
4. Both the grid and the image were generated with the GEMPAK
software package, available free of charge at: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/gempak/index.html
5. These grids are provided as is, for experimental purposes
only, and represent one possible format that the MPC may provide in the
future.
6. The grid products are in the international GRIB format.
Information on the format and on decoders for GRIB can be found by doing
a search for "GRIB format" at your favorite search engine, or by visiting
