.SYNOPSIS...Post-Tropical Cyclone Jose was centered near 39N 67W,
or about 175 nm SE of Nantucket at 8 PM EDT this evening with
maximum winds around 30 kt just to the W and SE of the center.
Post-Tropical Cyclone Jose will remain nearly stationary into
Sun, and then dissipate Sun night. Otherwise, S to SE swell from
Hurricane Maria will impact the area tonight into Thu night.
Also, a high pres ridge will persist inland just NW of the area
tonight, then shift further NW of the waters Sun into Mon.
Hurricane Maria is expected to track N, passing through the
southern and central Mid-Atlantic waters Mon into Thu night.
Refer to the latest National Hurricane Center advisory for
Hurricane Maria. A cold front will pass SE over the region later
Thu and Thu night.
